NXT Halloween Havoc Week 1 is in the books and it has to be said that Women’s wrestling rules. This show was a great advertisement for Women’s wrestling and all the women and the men stepped up and they delivered a fantastic show for the fans. The quality of Wrestling was top notch. Shawn Michaels knows how to deliver the best product for the WWE fans. NXT Halloween Havoc is a 2 week event and there are great matches set for next week as well.
Let’s take a look at the results for NXT Halloween Havoc Week 1
Roxanne Perez beat Kiana James in Devil’s Playground Match
This was the first match on the show and it was Between two extremely talented women in NXT. This was a Devil’s Playground Match and it was a very good match. These women got 11 minutes and they made the most of the time as they went full devil on each other. These 2 women hated each other and they beat each other with all types of weapons and Roxanne Perez was at her destructive best. After 11 minutes it was Roxanne Perez who got an important win.
Lexis King beat Dante Chen
This was the first match in the NXT career of Lexis King and this was just a match to introduce him to the NXT audience and he gained an important win in just 4 minutes in what was a Squash match. He looked good while in the ring and he will be pushed in the coming weeks.
Kelani Jordan beat Arianna Grace in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament semi final
The next match was the semi final for the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament and this was between Kelani Jordan vs Arianna Grace. This was an opportunity for these 2 women to go out there and show the world why they are the next breakout women in NXT. They had an 8 minute match in which they had a good wrestling match and these 2 women showed why they were being pushed so heavily. Kelani Jordan won this match and she reached the final of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament.
Chase University beat The Family for the NXT Tag Team Championship
This was a very important match for Chase University as this was the last opportunity for them to win the NXT Tag Team Championship. They were taking on The Family of Tony D’ Angelo and Channing Lorenzo. This was a brilliant 12 minute tag team match where all 4 wrestlers showed why they have been teams for the longest time. And Chase University winning was the right decision after all the work they have put in.
Blair Davenport beat Gigi Dolin in a Lights out Match
The next match was again a women’s match where 2 of the top women in NXT were given an opportunity to have a lights out match. This was a NO DQ match. They got 12:30 minutes and they used every second of those to have one of the best Matches in the show. This was the longest match that Blair Davenport has been in and Gigi Dolin had her best wrestling match of her career showing the improvement that she has done in her wrestling. This match was won by Blair Davenport and she can move to the NXT Women’s Championship.
Lola Vice beat Karmen Petrovic in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament semi final
This was the second semi final of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament and it was Lola Vice who was dominant in this match. It was the shortest match in the show at under 4 minutes. It was a squash match and Lola Vice had advanced to the final of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament and she will take on Kelani Jordan.
Lyra Valkaria beat Becky Lynch for NXT Women’s Championship
This was the main event of the show and easily the best match of the show and one of the best WWE women’s matches of the year. This was the biggest opportunity for Lyra Valkaria to show the world how talented she is in the ring. Becky Lynch was a hero to her and now she was having this match in the main event. This was emotional and there was only respect for each other. Lyra Valkaria absolutely smashed it in this match. Becky Lynch was also at her best and it was Irish Women’s wrestling at its very best. This was a 27 minute match and Lyra Valkaria fulfilled her dream of winning the NXT Women’s Championship. Jade Cargill was watching the match from ringside and after the match she stared down Becky Lynch.
