NXT Battleground 2024 is in the books and it was yet another great wrestling show with quality matches all around the show. This show was held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. This show had 6 Matches out of which 3 were women’s Matches. This show deserved a 10,000+ arena where there could have been thousands of fans.

Kelani Jordan wins the NXT Women’s North American Championship
The first match on the show was the six woman ladder match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. In this match there were 6 young and talented women who wanted to make a mark. The women in this match were Kelani Jordan, Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Michin, Fallon Henley and Jaida Parker. This was a 13 minute match and all the women got their moment to shine. This match had great ladder spots and in the end Sol Ruca went crazy but it was the young Kelani Jordan who won the match and became the first ever NXT Women’s North American Champion.
Nathan Frazer and Axiom beat The Good Brothers for NXT Tag Team Championship
The second match in the show was the match for the NXT Tag Team Championship. This was the best match for Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of The Good Brothers in a long time. The team of Nathan Frazer and Axiom made sure that this was a very good follow up to the Ladder Match. This was 12 minutes of tag team wrestling at its best. The heels were ahead but Nathan Frazer and Axiom used their quickness and they got the win and retained their NXT Tag Team Championship.
Lola Vice beat Shayna Baszler in NXT Underground Match
This was the MMA style WWE match which was happening at the UFC Apex. This was between two legitimate MMA fighters who knew how to have a fight in the WWE. This was NXT Underground and this was a war. These two women used all their experience in the MMA circuit to have a banger. The main roster misses such aggressive women’s Matches. This was 10:30 minutes of pure brutality and Lola Vice won her second NXT Underground Match due to the referee stopping the fight. She will look to win the NXT Women’s North American Championship.
Oba Femi beat Wes Lee and Joe Coffey for NXT North American Championship
The next match was a triple Threat match and this was a match that the fans were very excited for because this was the first PPV match for Wes Lee after his injury and Oba Femi has gotten into a monster as the champion. Joe Coffey was also very good in this match. This was a 12 minutes match and all 3 men got their moments. Wes Lee showed the world that he is better than ever and Oba Femi showed why he is feared across NXT. This was yet another brilliant triple Threat match. Oba Femi will hold the NXT North American Championship for a long time.
Roxanne Perez beat Jordynne Grace for NXT Women’s Championship
This was easily the best match in the entire show. This was a match that was WWE vs TNA. It was the NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez against Jordynne Grace who is the TNA Knockouts Champion. This match was 14 minutes long and it was the longest match in the entire show. Jordynne Grace showed the WWE universe that she is one of the best in the world and she uw physical. Roxanne Perez was tested and she came out on top after a grueling match. This sets up the TNA show in Chicago on 14th June where there will be WWE involvement as Jordynne Grace is holding an open challenge for the TNA Knockouts Championship. They should have main evented this show.
Trick Williams beat Ethan Page for NXT Championship
This was the main event of the show and it was between Trick Williams vs Ethan Page. This match should have been the co main event of the show and Roxanne Perez vs Jordynne Grace should have main evented. This match was 12 minutes and both men used all their strength to inflict pain on each other. Trick Williams used his experience to get the better of Ethan Page and the fans were behind Trick Williams. In the end it was Trick Williams who won the match.
