NXT will finally be moving out of the USA Network and they will air on the CW Network. The deal is for 5 years starting from 1st October 2024. The first show will be held in Chicago where CM Punk will be in attendance. The caliber of Matches at the show are enough to understand how big of a deal it is for NXT. Ethan Page vs Trick Williams for NXT Championship with CM Punk as Special Guest Referee
The main event of the show will be the match for the NXT Championship. This match has been building for months and Shawn Michaels knows that the fans want to see this match. The match will take place in Chicago so there cannot be a better Special Guest Referee than CM Punk who is the favorite son of Chicago. He alone will ensure that the first show will be a sell out. This will be an excellent match and both men would want to have the best match this year. This match is difficult to predict and Drew McIntyre will be near the action as he would look to attack CM Punk.
Roxanne Perez vs Giulia for NXT Women’s Championship
The second big Championship Match at this show will be for the NXT Women’s Championship. This would have been the main event had CM Punk not been the referee for the NXT Championship Match. This match has been in the works since WrestleMania weekend. Roxanne Perez has had an incredible reign as the NXT Women’s Champion. She has beaten everyone on the roster. Giulia is the final boss of the women’s division and this match might just be the best women’s match of the year. The women should get 20 minutes to tell a story and entertain the fans.
Zachary Wentz vs Wes Lee in a Street Fight
This feud has become so personal for both men. The break-up of The Rascalz has been one of the best things about NXT. Zachary Wentz is a TNA wrestler and this NXT and TNA partnership has been beneficial for both parties. This street fight will be vicious and it will be brutal. Both men will look to end each other in this match. Trey Miguel was injured by Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz wants Revenge. This match should be for 15 minutes.
Miz TV
An edition of the Miz TV will happen at the debut episode of NXT on CW Network. It has been many months that an episode of Mix TV has happened In WWE. Having The Miz in NXT is a great decision because it will help new viewers tune in to NXT. Joe Hendry could be the guest on Miz TV as WWE would want him in a high profile segment despite him being a TNA wrestler.
