The Indian Premier League has produced some outstanding cricketers to the world T20 and has also allowed us to witness some epic partnerships which took the game away from opposition hands pretty quickly.
Now let us look upon those highest partnerships that we were able to watch for each wicket in the history of IPL.
10th wicket: Tom Curran and Ankit Rajpoot (31* runs)
It was in 2020 IPL, where Kolkata posted a big total of 176 against Rajasthan, but Rajasthan Batting line up was not upto the mark and collapsed badly against string bowling attack of Kolkata, and they were 42 for 5 with all their main batters at the hut, then the field was lit up by the batting show of all rounder Tom Curran where he smashed an important 54 runs off 36 and remained unbeaten and was ably supported by 11th man Ankit Rajpoot who faced 5 balls to hit 7 runs and they tried their best but was not able to take Rajasthan to the winning line.

9th wicket: Sam Curran and Imran Tahir (43 runs)
It was the El classico of IPL and fans were waiting for the same like every other time, Chennai vs Mumbai, Butt Chennai struggled with the bat and their top order collapsed and they were 6 for 30 runs, and they had last the plot, then arrived the young Sam Curran and played an thoughtful knock of 52 runs from 47 balls but was supported only by tailenders, he and Imran Tahir stitched a partnership of 43 runs where they hit 6 fours and 2 sixes to give bowlers of Chennai to bowl something at and posted a total of 114 runs which was easily chased by Mumbai in 12.2 overs and they won by 10 wickets.
8th wicket: B J Hodge and James Faulkner (69 runs)
In this match between Rajasthan and Mumbai, Mumbai posted a mammoth total of 178 for 3 wickets and was already in driver's seat, to which Rajasthan quite didn't start well, and lost all 6 batsman apart from Karun Nair for scores less than 5, and we're in trouble, then Karun Nair and Hodge stitched a partnership which was looking good, but Nair fell when the ship was steadying. Then we got to witness one of the most important knocks which included sensible knocks from both Hodge and Faulkner with a 69 run partnership including a four and 5 massive sixes, but the result was not in favor of Rajasthan and Mumbai won the match.
7th wicket: J Suchith and Harbhajan Singh (100 runs)
The clash was between Mumbai and Punjab in 2015, Punjab batted first and posted a total of 177 for 5 with a blistering knock from Bailey of 61 runs off 32 balls. To this, Mumbai wanted their openers to come with blazing guns, but top order collapsed to the spin web if Punjab bowlers, but then came an out of syllabus partnership for Punjab bowlers when Mumbai were 6 for 59 from Jagadeesha Suchith and Harbhajan Singh to almost clinch the victory from Punjab, they hit bowlers all over the park and built a century partnership which had 9 fours and 8 huge sixes, but were short of 18 runs to the victory.

6th wicket: Ambati Rayudu and Kieron Pollard (122* runs)
The match between Mumbai vs Bangalore is no less a thriller for fans every time they play. In 2012, Bangalore posted a total of 171 runs at their very own Chinnaswamy stadium, to which Mumbai didn't start that well as they were supposed and their half the team was back in the hut for 51, then it was all about the Rayudu-Pollard show, they both just played around with Bangalore Bowlers and smashed them and gave fans a cherishable evening with their 122 runs stand with 11 fours and 7 sixes in which Rayudu scored 81 and Pollard hit a blistering 50 and took the team over the victory line with just two balls remaining in a nail biting contest.
5th wicket: Shakib Al Hasan and Yusuf Pathan (134* runs)
The match between Gujarat and Kolkata in 2016 gave us a chance to witness the Supremacy of Yusuf Pathan and Shakib Al Hasan, When Kolkata were handed to bat, the top order vanished and within they were 24 for 4 within Powerplay. When everyone thought Gujarat won the game in the powerplay itself, these two had different plans, in a pitch where others struggled, they both 16 boundaries and smashed 50s and stitched a 134 runs partnership which allowed them to post a total of 164 runs which was seeming unreachable at the end of powerplay. But Gujarat also played in attacking approach and Dinesh Kartik scored a fiercy 50 and eventually Gujarat won the match.

4th wicket: Shimron Hetmeyer and Gurkeerat Singh (144 runs)
The match between Hyderabad and Bangalore was a thriller, and in this match Hyderabad posted a total of 175 runs courtesy to a fine knock of 70 runs from Williamson and some valuable contribution from top order. In the response, Bangalore lost theur power hitting pair for just 20 runs and we're in the spot of bother, but then arrived the Shimron Hetmeyer and Gurkeerat Singh, they both turned the match upside down and built a crucial partnership of 144 runs and scored 75 and 65 by hitting 12 fours and 6 sixes together. This knock was surely a special knock and it helped RCB win the match with 4 balls remaining and snatch the victory from Hyderabad.
3rd wicket: Robin Uthappa and Shivam Dube (165 runs)
The highest third wicket partnership came in this very season and in an El classico of IPL, Chennai vs Bangalore. When RCB chose to bowl, they didn't expect this havoc by Uthappa and Dube, Bangalore were right on track in powerplay in which they got 2 wickets, but post that it was all yellow from Uthappa and Dube, they sensibly batted, settled and then taken Bangalore Bowlers to cleaners at the death. They had built a partnership of 165 runs with Uthappa scoring 88 and Dube scoring his career best 95 in the match. They both smashed 9 fours and 17 sixes and it was raining boundaries in the stadium. They posted a total of 216 and Won the match by 23 runs after a tough fight from Bangalore middle order.
2nd wicket: Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers (229 runs)
For every RCB fan, 2016 has given some of the best memories, and this partnership is one among those best ones. The match between Gujarat and Bangalore at Bangalore's Chinnaswamy stadium has sent the fans crazy in that day after they witnessed a phenomenal batting from their very favourite batting pair ABD and Virat Kohli. Still one of the best pairs of IPL, they unleashed the beast inside themselves and bossed the bowlers in their 229 runs partnership. This included centuries from both the cricketing bests and they made boundaries rain at the stadium and together hit 15 and 20 fours and sixes respectively. The bowlers were smashed by these two and RCB posted one of the highest total of 248 runs. Gujarat was not able to recover from this havoc and we're bundled out for 104 and RCB won the match by a huge difference of 144 runs. The fans still remember this phenomenal knock of these two and it remains one of the fan favorites.
1st wicket: Johny Bairstow and David Warner ( 185 runs)
In every match, if the first wicket partnership stays strong and longer, the batting line up will be less worried and can perform to their best. One of the best opening pair of IPL, Bairstow and David Warner has laid the platform in a contest between Bangalore and Hyderabad, with both smashing centuries as openers. They held a fort of 185 runs opening partnership which is still the highest and yet to be beaten and they looked like hitting boundaries for fun, they played sensibly in the initial overs and then upped the ante so well and together hit 29 boundaries in this partnership posting a total of 230 runs. Bangalore had no answer to their havoc and were bundled out for 113, giving Hyderabad a victory by 118 runs.
