Defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have maintained their strong IPL 2024 form against the arch-rivals Mumbai Indians (MI) by securing a 20-run victory at Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai) on Sunday (14 April) night during the 29th match at the IPL 2024.

a big T20 total of 206/4. While Gaikwad scored 69 off 40 balls with five fours

sixes.
Also, the former CSK captain, MS Dhoni stormed in the final over with 20 not out in four balls, including three sixes.
In reply, despite the unbeaten century of the former MI skipper Rohit Sharma (105 not out off 63 balls; 11 fours and five sixes), MI only managed to score 186/6 in 20 overs. CSK Sri Lankan fast-bowler Matheesha Pathirana bagged four wickets in the match and had the bowling figures 4-0-28-4.
