Indian Premier League (IPL) is very popular in the cricket world due to its tense competition. However, in the large history of IPL matches, we have experienced some very one-sided games, where the first batting teams completely dominated and recorded massive victories.
Here is the list of the top five biggest victories in IPL history in terms of runs. Take a look at whether your favourite teams are in it or not!
5. Royal Challengers Bangalore (won by 130 runs against Pune Warriors India)
Who can forget the IPL match in which Gayle scored 175 runs? This match not only witnessed the highest individual and team total in IPL history at that time but also the second-largest IPL win at that time. Against Pune Warriors India in the IPL 2013, RCB scored 263/5, majorly thanks to Chris Gayle's unforgettable 175 not out off 66 balls. Chasing that giant total, Pune Warriors India (133/9) fell short of 130 runs and gifted RCB a very big victory in that match.
4. Royal Challengers Bangalore (won by 138 runs against Kings XI Punjab)
Another giant IPL victory by runs is in the name of RCB. This time the giant winning performance of RCB was against KXIP. In the 2015 season, RCB set a total of 226/3 in the first innings.
