KL Rahul scored the fastest century in IPL from 14 deliveries and scored a total of 51 runs. It was in the match against Delhi capitals in the 2018 season of IPL. His fast innings include 4 sixes and 6 boundaries.
2. Yusuf Pathan:
Former Indian international Yusuf Pathan is known for his fast run scoring abilities and powerful shots. In the match against SunRisers Hyderabad in the 2014 edition of IPL, Yusuf Pathan scored a half century from 15 balls which is still the second fastest half century in IPL history. His innings include 7 sixes and 5 fours.
3. Sunil Narine:
Sunil Narine debuted in the IPL as a spin bowler. Later this West Indies player showed his ability to deliver powerful long range sixes and he was introduced as the new opener of the team in later seasons. In the match against RCB in the 2017 edition of IPL, Narine scored a half century from 15 balls including 4 sixes and 6 fours. This knock from Narine is considered as the third fastest half century in IPL so far.
4. Suresh Raina:
Suresh is a T20 specialist. He has great ability to score runs very fast and to lead the team to victory. Also he is one of the players with most runs scored in IPL history. In the away match against KXIP in the 2014 season of IPL, Raina exhibited some amazing cricket by scoring a total of 87 runs. Of his 87 runs he completed his half century from 16 deliveries which include 6 sixes and 12 boundaries. He was named as the man of the match.
5. Chris Gayle:
Gayle is the most destructive batsmen in limited over cricket. He is very well known for his wild strength and long range sixes. The man who has the highest individual score in T20 history, Gayle also holds the record of scoring the fifth fastest half century in IPL. It was the match against Pune Warriors in the 2013 seasons that Gayle scored 175 runs in a single innings. In that innings he completed the first fifty in just 17 balls and this is considered as the fifth fastest half century in IPL history.
