While the Indian Premier League (IPL) is very famous for the tight battles between the batters and bowlers, there are some IPL matches where the batters dominate in the chasing. One of these is winning by ten wickets, out of which some successfully chased low two-digit targets and some chased the challenging targets dominantly.
Here, we are going through the biggest wins by wickets in IPL history. Due to the record book, we can also call it the wins by ten wickets.

8. Deccan Chargers:
Deccan Chargers were the first team to record a 10-wicket win in IPL history. In the first season of the IPL (2008), Deccan Chargers set the biggest victory by wickets in IPL history. In the match against Mumbai Indians on 27 April 2008, the Chargers recorded a victory of 10 wickets. Mumbai batted first and scored a total of 154 runs. Chasing down this total, the Chargers won the match in 12 overs without losing any wickets (with 48 balls remaining).

7. Rajasthan Royals
During the IPL 2011, Rajasthan Royals became the third team in IPL history to win by 10 wickets. After restricting Mumbai Indians to only 133/5, Royals openers chased down the target in 13.1 overs without losing wickets. Apart from taking three wickets, opener Shane Watson also scored 89 not out off 47 balls, and his opening partner Rahul Dravid was not out on 43 runs off 32 balls.
6. Kolkata Knight Riders
During the IPL 2017, Kolkata Knight Riders recorded their only IPL win by 10 wickets. It was the match against the now-defunct Gujarat Lions at Rajkot, where the Lions batted first and scored 183/4. KKR successfully chased the target in 14.5 overs without losing any wickets. While the KKR opener Chris Lynn scored 93 not out off 41 balls, his opening partner captain Gautam Gambhir scored 76 not out off 48 balls. It is still a record for the highest successful chase without losing any wicket in IPL history.
5. Punjab Kings
Punjab Kings, previously known as Kings XI Punjab, recorded their only ten-wicket victory during the IPL 2017. It was their match against Delhi Daredevils (presently known as Delhi Capitals) at Mohali, where the Delhi franchise were bundled out for only 67 runs. The Punjab franchise chased that tiny target in 7.5 overs without losing any wickets.
4. Chennai Super Kings
One of the most successful teams in IPL history, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have recorded a 10-wicket win twice in the tournament, both against Kings XI Punjab (presently known as Punjab Kings). In the IPL 2013, CSK beat Kings XI Punjab by ten wickets at Mohali after successfully chasing the target of 139 runs. Meanwhile, during the IPL 2020, CSK claimed another ten-wicket victory against the same team by successfully chasing a target of 179 runs.
3. Mumbai Indians
While Mumbai Indians are among the most successful teams in IPL history, just like CSK, the Mumbai-based franchise has also recorded a ten-wicket victory twice. During the IPL 2012, MI beat the hosts Rajasthan Royals by ten wickets after successfully chasing the 163-run target. During the IPL 2020, MI thrashed Chennai Super Kings by ten wickets after successfully chasing the 115-run target.
2. SunRisers Hyderabad
SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) have recorded a ten-wicket victory thrice in the IPL. During the IPL 2016, SRH won by ten wickets after restricting the now-defunct Gujarat Lions to 135/8. Later, SRH beat Mumbai Indians at the IPL 2020 and Lucknow Super Giants at the IPL 2024 by ten wickets after successfully chasing the targets of 150 runs and 166 runs, respectively.
1. Royal Challengers Bengaluru
Although Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) haven't won any trophy yet, they hold the record for the most IPL matches won by ten wickets. RCB have recorded it four times. RCB were the second team in IPL history to win by ten wickets after beating Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2010, where the hosts successfully chased the 93-run target. Later, RCB recorded it against Delhi Daredevils in the IPL 2015 and Kings XI Punjab in the IPL 2018 by successfully chasing less than the three-figure targets. RCB recorded its latest during the IPL 2021, where RCB defeated Rajasthan Royals by ten wickets after successfully chasing the 178-run target.
