NXT Vengeance Day 2023 Results

The 2023 NXT Vengeance Day PPV is in the books and what an incredible show it was. It was the first time in over 2 years that the NXT roster was outside the Performance Center for a show and more than 5500 fans turned up to see great wrestling. There were a total of 6 Matches on the show and each one delivered.

A total of 6 Matches are perfect for a Takeover show and more Wrestlers get to show their skills to a wider set of eyes and this show had a great pacing to it as well.

So, let’s look at the Results of NXT Vengeance Day:

Wes Lee beat Dijak for NXT North American Championship

This was the first match of the show and it was a banger of a match. Both of these talented wrestlers went out there and put it all on the line and the result was 17 minutes of pure Wrestling magic and Dijak was dominating for the start of this match and then Wes Lee made a comeback in this match and then they went back and forth on those moves and in between the match Final broke his finger which was hard to watch and in the end it was Wes Lee who retained his NXT North American Championship.

Fallon Henley and Kiana James beat Katana Chance and Kayden Carter for NXT Women’s tag team titles

This was the second match of the show and the women had a tough spot after that opening match but these 4 ladies were determined to put on a show and that is what they did. It was 9 minutes of quick fire wrestling where a good story was told and at the end there were new tag team champions crowned as the longest NXT Women’s tag team title reign came to an end.

Carmelo Hayes beat Apollo Crews in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match

Perhaps for a lot of fans this was the match of the night as two of the best in NXT went head to head and for 24 minutes across 2 pinfalls it was a match that would be remembered for a long time. This was an athletic masterpiece and Both of these wrestlers showed their variety of moves and the NXT crowd could not get enough of them two. Carmelo Hayes got the first fall and then Apollo Crews tried his best and he even got the help of an old friend but still Carmelo Hayes got the win and now he sets his sights on the NXT Championship.

Gallus beat The New Day, Pretty Deadly and Chase University for NXT tag team titles

This was the second tag team title match of the show and the fourth match on the show and this was the better of the 2 tag team Matches. All the 4 teams were different from each other and that is what made this match unique and Chase University were over with the 5500 strong crowd who wanted to see them lift the tag team titles but after a 17 minute classic it was Gallus yet again who won back the NXT tag team titles and now they look ahead to WrestleMania weekend.

Roxanne Perez beat Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne for NXT Women’s Championship

This was the second women’s match of the snow and the one which got a lot more time to tell a great story and have a great match. And all the three women went out there and put on a show for the fans and the fans were behind Roxanne Perez and they did not like Jacy Jayne at all. It was a 15 minute match and Roxanne smartly conquered the odds to retain the NXT Women’s title and it looks like Tiffany Straton is next for her.

Bron Breakker beat Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship in a steel cage match

This was the main event of the show and till now this had been an exceptional PPV and it was upto these 2 to make sure that they finish our strong. And before the match even began it was Grayson Waller with the mind games as he wore the outfit of Scott Steiner to the ring and when the match started Bron Breakker showed all his power as he dominated his opponent and he was at the Top but Waller made a great comeback and it looked like Bron was about to lose but at the end after 15 minutes of great wrestling it was Bron Breakker that won the match and after the match Carmelo Hayes stared down the champ and the main event of NXT Stand and Deliver is set.
