4) Cross Face
The Cross Face is a submission move that is used as an effective submission move which has been used by a variety of wrestlers to win the matches. This move was made famous by Daniel Bryan who called it the LeBell Knock. In this move the wrestler locks both hands over the nose and mouth of the opponent. This nice move does not allow the opponent to breathe. Edge uses this move to great effect in his matches.

One of the most painful submission moves there has ever been in WWE history has been the Ankle Lock. The Ankle Lock was named after Kurt Angle and more importantly because it was the move where Kurt Angle used to lock the Ankle with his hands and his opponent would be struggling. He was an expert and the Sharpshooter was a move where Bret Hart was standing and his opponent was laying on the ground and Bret Hart locks both the legs and turns around and applies the pressure to the back of the opponent. This move has finished so many matches for Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Charlotte Flair etc. The Figure Four Leglock is one of the most painful submission moves where both the legs are locked by the opponent and the pain is immense for the one receiving the move.
