NXT Spring Breakin 2023 Results

The next big NXT show took place last night when NXT had their Spring Breakin show from the Performance Center. It was not a PPV but it easily could have been one just by looking at the card and the matches for the show. The 2 big NXT titles were on the line in incredible matches and this was also the last NXT appearance for some of the NXT talent as they will be drafted to the main roster in the upcoming WWE Draft.

The matches that took place on the show were great and the matches that were short had a story reason behind it. It was a very good show overall and Shawn Michaels is at his best these days.

So, let’s look at the NXT Spring Breakin Results:

Tony D’Angelo and Channing Lorenzo Beat Pretty Deadly

This was the first match on the show and it was a banger as all four men had the time and chance to show that they are the future of the WWE ahd they had a 13 minute Trunk Match where there were no rules and the men could do anything to each other. There are 2 incredible tag teams and they entertained the NXT fans. The story of this match was that whether this will be the final match of Pretty Deadly in NXT. And as the match got over it was clear that Pretty Deadly are done in NXT and they will be called up in the WWE Draft.

Bron Breakker Beat Andre Chase

This was the shortest match in the show and there was a very good reason behind it as Bron Breakker is a heel now and he is levels above his opponent and so if Andre Chase took Bron Breakker to the limit, it would not have made sense and Bron Breakker won the match inside 3 minutes and now he is set for the NXT Championship once again and so it looks like he will not be called up in the WWE Draft.

Cora Jade Beat Lyra Valkyria

This was the third match on the show and the first of the 3 women’s matches in the show and it was 2 extremely talented women going at it as Cora Jade took on Lyra Valkyria. This was a 9 minute match but both women showed a lot and they impressive everyone and Cora Jade was the perfect heel and Lyra Valkyria is a terrific wrestler. In the end it was Cora Jade who took the win and she will move on in her career in NXT.

Carmelo Hayes Beat Grayson Waller for NXT Championship

This was the first title match in the show and it was a big one as it was Carmelo Hayes that took on Grayson Waller and this was a banger as everyone expected as both are excellent in ring Wrestlers. Grayson Waller has come a long way in NXT and now he is one of the seniors in the NXT locker room. Carmelo Hayes is truly HIM as he beat Grayson Waller after 13 minutes of great Wrestling and Grayson Waller will most likely finti the main roster in the WWE Draft.

Josh Briggs and Fallon Henley Beat Brooks Jensen and Kiana James

This was the mixed tag team match that a lot of NXT fans were excited for because it featured wrestlers who were in a long term story and this was the payoff and they had an amazing 12 minutes match where all 4 Wrestlers got to show why they are near the top of the card in feytag team division. And in the end it was Josh Briggs and Fallon Henley who won the match and after the match Kiana James broke up with Brooks Jensen.

Ora Femi Beat Oro Mensah

This was the second shortest match in the show and it was the in ring debut of Ora Femi and he was very impressive in his debut as he dominated his opponent and he won the match easily and he has a bright future in NXT and there is no doubt that he will only keep getting better as time goes.

Indi Hartwell Beat Roxanne Perez and Tiffany Straton for NXT Women’s Championship

This was the main event of NXT Spring Breakin and deservedly so as this match featured the 3 most talented women in NXT and it was Indi Hartwell who took on Roxanne Perez and Tiffany Straton in a triple triple Threat match which went in for 16 minutes and it was an incredible match and Indi Hartwell got injured and but she still finished the match and retained the NXT Women’s Championship. It was an amazing show overall.
