Sift Kaur Samra: Early life
Sift Kaur Samra was born on 9th September 2001. Her family is agriculturists and involved in the rice shelling business.
Sift claimed herself as an “accidental shooter”, who was an MBBS student. She was introduced to shooting by her cousin, a shotgun shooter.

In the Junior World Cup 2022 in Suhl, Sift won four medals, including one individual gold medal in the 50m rifle 3 positions women’s event. Apart from one gold medal, she won two silver and one bronze medals in the team events.
