Ramita Jindal: Early life
Ramita Jindal was born on 16th January 2004. She is the daughter of Arvind Jindal, a tax advisor. According to media reports, Ramita started her shooting journey in 2016.
Junior successes
In the ISSF Junior Cup 2022 in Suhl, Ramita’s air rifle women's team won the gold medal. In the same competition, she won an individual silver medal and one mixed-team silver medal.
In the ISSF World Championships 2022 in Cairo, Ramita celebrated with two gold medals (10m air rifle women’s junior and air rifle women’s team junior). Earlier, at the ISSF World Championships 2021 in Lima, she won a bronze medal in the 10m air rifle women’s junior event.
Early senior performances show a bright future
In the ISSF World Cup 2022 in Baku and Changwon, Ramita’s air rifle women’s team won gold and silver medals, respectively.
In the Asian Championships 2023 in Changwon, Ramita won a bronze medal in the 10m air rifle women’s event, while her 10m air rifle mixed team won the silver medal.
In the ISSF World Cup Final 2023, Ramita ended up in ninth place in the 10m air rifle women’s event.
