Bhagwath Chandrasekhar- 6/38 in 1971

Anil Kumble – 3/93 and 4/66 in 2002

This was one of the best bowling performances In the legendary career of Anil Kumble where he with the ball impacted both batting innings of England and he allowed India to win by an innings and 46 runs. In the first batting innings of England in that match Anil Kumble bowled 33 overs and took 3 wickets for 93 runs and then in the 3rd innings he bettered his performance by taking 4 wickets for just 66 runs in 29.5 overs and he was one of the main heroes of this all important win at Leeds in 2002.


Zaheer Khan – 4/59 and 5/75 in 2007

This is one of the best fast bowling performances by an Indian fast bowler in England and it came in 2007 where India won that match at Nottingham and the series as well. In the first batting innings for England he bowled for 21 overs and giving away 59 runs and he got 4 wickets but hos best was yet to come as in the all important 3rd innings he got a 5 wicket haul as he toiled hard for 27 overs and picked up 5 wickets and India won the match by 7 wickets and he was the man of the match.


Ishant Sharma – 7/74 in 2014

The fourth performance that we will talk about is the sensational spell that Ishant Sharma bowled in 2014 at Lord’s and won India the match by bouncing the England batters out in the 4th innings no less. Indian were in a spot of bother and Ishant Sharma just started bouncing out the England batters one by one and he bowled for 23 overs and gave away 74 runs and took 7 wickets and India won a famous match by 95 runs and Ishant Sharma got on the Lord’s honor board.


Mohammad Siraj – 4/94 and 4/32 in 2021

The last performance that we are talking about is the incredible performance by Mohammad Siraj at Lord’s where he got 4 wickets in both the innings of this test match. In the first batting innings for England he got 4 wickets for 94 runs and England had a lead of less than a 100 runs and then in the final day of the test match , Mohammad Siraj just bowled a shade over 10 overs and he took 4 important Wickets and only gave away 32 runs thus giving the defining performance of his young career.
