The future of test cricket has long been debated and decoded as to what the future of test cricket will be and every time there are questions asked then something happens or a series happens that completely dispelled this theory and now this Ashes Series has again proved that Test Cricket is the best and the hardest form of cricket there is and when a test match goes to a thriller then there is nothing like it.

The Ashes is the biggest test series ever played in cricket and every 2 years England and Australia go out and fight each other for 5 test Matches and they fight for the urn and the battles not only happen on the field but off the field as well. The experts from both these teams try to make a case as to why their team will win and before this series it was predicted 5-0 for either side. And before this series there were talks as to how will test cricket survive in the fast and modern age. However as soon as the series started all those questions were put to rest. 3 Test Matches have been played till now and all 3 have been must see and everyone is watching.
The Ashes is a contest of equal quality test teams going at it which makes this contest such an intriguing one because anyone can win the matches and England have been playing in a more attacking manner in test cricket and Australia are the best test team in the world. In the first test , England made some bold choices which did not pay off and the Australian bowlers had a great match. That test match went till the last day and Australia won. In the second test match tempers were up from all sides as there was Controversy after controversy as there were catches given which were not clean and then there were run outs against the spirit of the game and even the Prime Ministers of both the countries got into the action. Such controversies also help keep the interest of the game alive.
And in the Third test match there were no issues and it was high quality cricket from both teams aa Mark Wood ripped through the Australian batting line-up and the fans loved seeing such fast bowling. And this test match went to a thriller and England won and the series is 2-1 and so the interest in the series will continue as now it seems as if anything can happen. The issue is that all test teams are as good as these 2 or India or New Zealand and South Africa. Pakistan and West Indies are the only other decent test teams but they also cannot produce such test cricket at all times. The upcoming India vs West Indies test series will be important to see if the quality is as good when 2 teams with a difference in quality play against each other.
