Who should dethrone Roman Reigns

This is a question that has been asked recently since the Roman Reigns title juggernaut has gone for too long and people want to discuss options as to who could it be that finally dethrones the mighty Roman Reigns from the head of the table? As of now the names are very few but I will also give my Two Cents as to who I think should be the 1. Roman Reigns has had a 600 day reign and counting and is the 5th longest World Title reign of all time and someone incredibly special should beat him for the title. The cool thing is that even after so long the fans still want Roman as Champion going forward and that says a lot about how tremendous he has been in these 600 days.

This is a valid question and the fact that we are having this discussion so passionately around the world shows how big Roman Reigns has become that there is a debate as to who should finally beat him for the title? There are a few contenders and I will talk about them 1 by 1 below. I have to say this is the most fun part as a WWE fan is that we get to speculate all the time and finally what happens is decided by the Genius known as Vince McMahon. So, let’s look at the options.

Cody Rhodes

Firstly let’s talk about the name that the majority of fans are talking about and that is the returning Cody Rhodes. There are many compelling arguments that can be made in his favor like first of all he is a much bigger star than some of the WWE names already there and he will be believable as well. Secondly he has made it clear that he needs to win the WWE Universal Championship for his father and his family so the crowd are behind him for this reason as well. However, now is not the time for Cody, he needs to be built by beating credible names such as Seth Rollins and Miz among others. By the time SummerSlam comes I think Cody Rhodes will be in a position to challenge Roman Reigns.

Bron Breakker

This is a name that has gained so much in just 7 months of being in NXT and in these months he has become NXT Champion twice already and is one of the best wrestlers in WWE and he is only 24 years old so the level of greatness that this Young man will achieve is astronomical and he is also a man that should be talked about when it comes to beating Roman Reigns in the future. Right now he is not in the same level as Roman but in a year he will get there and if Roman has the titles till then he will be a strong contender ti beat him eventually.

The Rock

We cannot make this list without talking about the Real head of the table Samoan which is The Rock. This is the biggest match in wrestling right now that hasn’t been done and there have been a lot of teases recently that is where they are planning for the main event of WrestleMania 39. If that happens then it will also become the biggest WrestleMania event of all time. The Rock can definitely be the one to beat Roman but should he? That’s the difficult question as he is so busy in Hollywood and WWE needs a regular World Champ so I don’t know.

Drew McIntyre

The last name that I will be talking about here is the Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre. We should not forget that there is a big UK PPV this year which will be a big stadium show in front of 80,000 live fans screaming and cheering everything and Drew is their poster boy when it comes to UK as he is responsible for bringing this show there and all the British fans want Drew McIntyre in the main event of that show and sha bigger match than Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship and Drew McIntyre can beat Roman Reigns on that show and no one would bat an eyelid. Drew is a real possibility if built up again properly.
