WWE Bad Blood 2024 was one of the most epic PPVs of the entire year. This show had everything including an all time Hell in a Cell Match, storylines that got advanced and returns that shocked the WWE universe. This show had 5 Matches and it was 3 hours long. There were more than 16,000 fans in Atlanta Georgia to enjoy the show.

CM Punk beat Drew McIntyre in Hell in a Cell Match
The first match of the show was the one that the fans had been waiting for. It was the closing chapter in the feud between CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre. Drew first made his entrance and then the crowd erupted when CM Punk came out. This was a match that saw blood early as Drew McIntyre made CM Punk bleed when he threw him to the steel. Drew was dominating the first 10 minutes of this match and it looked like one way traffic. However then CM Punk made a comeback and he made Drew bleed when he smashed the toolbox to the head of Drew McIntyre. They were using tables, steel steps, chairs, and chains. CM Punk even tried to choke Drew McIntyre. There were some great call backs as well as Punk applied the sharpshooter on Drew McIntyre as he was bleeding. This was a great call back to WrestleMania 13 where Stone Cold took on Bret hart. At the end Drew McIntyre got arrogant as he tried to finish CM Punk with the remains of the bracelet that he had broken. CM Punk tied a chain to his knee and hit the GTS for the win. This was one of the bloodiest and one of the best Hell in a Cell Matches of the last 20 years. After the match CM Punk was struggling for breath and he collapsed. It looks like it will be CM Punk vs Gunther at Survivor Series. CM Punk won the feud of the year and Drew McIntyre will be off TV till the Royal Rumble. This was 32 minutes of professional wrestling at its very best.
Nia Jax beat Bayley for WWE Women’s Championship
The second match of this show was always going to be put in a tough spot as these women had to follow the all time classic. This match had 3 main characters with the 2 being in the match and the third being Tiffany Stratton who holds the Money in the Bank. As the match started it was all Nia Jax as she was just toying around with Bayley. She was hitting her with clotheslines, leg drops. However, Bayley being the veteran started to make a comeback. Bayley went to the top rope and she hit the elbow to the heart but Nia Jax kicked out. Nia Jax tried to hit her finisher but Bayley would find a way to avoid getting hit. Bayley and Nia Jax took each other out and then Tiffany Stratton appeared and she tried to cash in her contract but Nia Jax got up like The Undertaker and she won the match with the Annihilator. These two women put on a 14 minute good match but the crowd was not into it .
Damian Priest beat Finn Balor
This match was good but the winner was wrong. The new Judgement Day needed this win to have some credibility. This was the third match. It looked like Damian Priest was one step ahead of Finn Balor. From the start of the match Damian Priest was hitting his heavy forearms and his kicks to Finn Balor. Finn Balor hit a couple of Sling Blades on the outside. He hit Damian Priest with a beautiful Pele Kick but Damian Priest always had an answer. He hit the Razors Edge for a near fall. Seeing all this JD McDonough and Carlito tried to help Finn Balor. He hit the Coup De Gras but Damian kicked out. Damian Priest hit the South of Heaven at the end to win the match. He beat 3 members of the new Judgement Day all on his own. Finn Balor needed to win this match for this feud to have legs.
Triple H makes a historic announcement
After the 3 Matches it was time for Triple H to come out with the historic announcement that was being teased. He announced that at Crown Jewel it will be WWE Champion vs World Heavyweight Champion for the men and WWE Women’s Champion vs Women’s World Champion for the women. The winner of these Matches will receive the Crown Jewel Championship. This is basically what used to happen at Survivor Series. Then Gunther came out and he told Triple H that he will win the title. After this he taunted Goldberg and he called him a one trick pony. Goldberg got heated and Sami Zayn attacked Gunther before the World Heavyweight Championship Match on Raw.
Liv Morgan beat Rhea Ripley for Women’s World Championship
Liv Morgan vs Rhea Ripley is a feud that has divided the WWE universe. Some people absolutely love it and others do not like it. This was the first Shark Cage Match in WWE in 7 years. Dominik Mysterio was locked in a Cage high up the ramp. Rhea Ripley got a massive pop and the match was a good match. Rhea Ripley was dominating Liv Morgan at the start but Liv Morgan found the weakness and that was the knee of Rhea Ripley. She constantly attached the knee and got a number of near falls. Liv Morgan was showing that she has improved as a wrestler. Rhea Ripley hit her finisher Riptide on the ramp. Suddenly the shark Cage opens and Dominik Mysterio is dangling from the Cage. Rhea Ripley hits him multiple times with a kendo stick but soon Raquel Rodriguez returns and the match is a DQ. This is the next step in this feud. Liv Morgan finally had someone that can match Rhea Ripley in strength. WWE could have made the return of Raquel Rodriguez more impactful by letting Dominik Mysterio be in the cage and out of nowhere Raquel attacks her. Rhea Ripley vs Raquel Rodriguez will be by great and it can be the equivalent of Braun Strowman vs Bronson Reed.
Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns beat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu
