crucial Super 8 stage match against India. The left-arm spinner Shakib became
the first player to complete 50 wickets in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup history.

It was the fourth over of the innings, and India had already scored 39 runs. However, Shakib brought the important breakthrough in that over as the left-arm spinner dismissed the dangerous-looking Indian captain Rohit Sharma, who scored 23 runs off only 11 balls with three fours and one six.
It was the 50th wicket for Shakib Al Hasan in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Shakib became the first bowler in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup history to complete 50 wickets with that wicket. Shakib has taken 50 wickets in 42 T20 World Cup matches.
