1. MS Dhoni:
One of the greatest players who has played the game so far, MS Dhoni is undoubtedly a cricket legend. This amazing player has played for 2 teams in the IPL. He has played for CSK and RPG. This Indian veteran is the captain of the team CSK from the first season itself. Brought to the team for an amount of 9.5 crores in 2008, Dhoni has proved the price in his team. 3. Virat Kohli:
This young Indian skipper players for the IPL team Bangalore Royal Challengers. 4. Yuvraj Singh:
This veteran Indian all-rounder is the only player who was given the highest auction price for two seasons in a row. He was bought by Bangalore Royal Challengers in 2014 for 14 crores and in 2016 he was bought by DD for a mouth opening price of 16 crores. His performance in DD was not matching the price he was paid and the team finished the season in the seventh position. Yuvraj announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in the year 2019.
5. Pat Cummins:
In the IPL auctions of IPL 2020, Pat Cummins was sold for the highest price of 15.5 crores. This price is one of the highest prices in the history of the IPL for a foreign player.
