The draw ceremony for the final rounds of the National Football Championship for the 76th Hero Santosh Trophy took place at the Federation’s headquarters, the Football House, on Thursday, January 19, 2023. The final rounds will be played in Odisha from February 10-20, 2023 while the semi-finals, third-place playoff and the final of the tournament will be played in Saudi Arabia.
The final round has been divided into two groups of six. Defending champions Kerala are in Group A along with the hosts Odisha, Maharashtra, Karnataka and the winners of Group VI from the first round. Group B consists of record holders and previous edition runners-up West Bengal with Delhi and Meghalaya as well as the two direct entrants, Services and Railways. The runners-up of Group II or Group IV from the first round, depending on a better record as per regulations, will make up the final spot in this group.
