Bray Wyatt sadly passed away on Thursday and since then it has been a flow of messages from his friends and fellow Wrestlers. Bray Wyatt was a once in a generation talent and he had more creativity In his mind than any other contemporary wrestler of his era. Bray Wyatt has been an integral part of WWE and the WWE universe for over a decade now and the fans wanted to see how WWE will pay tribute to one of their most popular and beloved WWE superstars.
It has to be said that WWE did a phenomenal job considering the short amount of time that they had. WWE are known for their amazing tributes when a wrestler passes away and this one was a very tough one to swallow. It was like even Eddie Guerrero passed away almost 20 years ago in his prime. Let’s look at how WWE paid tribute to Bray Wyatt
An emotional last 24 hours for the WWE universe
As soon as Paul Levesque broke the news that Bray Wyatt had passed away , the entire WWE universe was in a state of shock. Condolences were pouring in from all across the board and every WWE superstar wanted to say what they felt. The likes of Alexa Bliss, Braun Strowman, Rhea Ripley, LA Knight, Damian Priest, Becky Lynch etc shared how special he was. WWE started posting photos on their social media and they posted videos of his entrances and the fans celebrated him. Everyone knew that SmackDown was on Friday and the WWE fans were prepared to cry and Unite as a community.

SmackDown started with a graphic remembering Bray Wyatt and then a sight that no WWE fan wants to ever see as all the WWE superstars were on the stage as well as Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan who were in the Wyatt family with Bray Wyatt. WWE did the 10 Bell Salute which was very emotional and then the night started. After that WWE put together the most amazing and beautiful video package as a tribute to Bray Wyatt. There is no one better than WWE at doing video packages and it included all the backstage happiness that he already throughout the WWE. Bray Wyatt was so different and unique and he had the Whole World in his Hands. After the video package the lights went off and the rocking chair of Bray Wyatt was seen in the ring empty and that made everyone cry.
Later in the night it was Cody Rhodes who came out and gave a brief tribute to Bray Wyatt. However it was his last opponent LA Knight who gave the most moving tribute as he came to.the ring and he was emotional and he told that Bray Wyatt made him as good as he is today. Then he attacked the Mix and told him to RUN like Bray Wyatt would tell his opponents to do so. LA Knight took on Finn Balor and in this match it was the last opponent of Bray Wyatt vs the first opponent of The Fiend. LA Knight best Finn Balor and then WWE closed the night by playing his latest theme song with the lantern in the ring. It was an absolutely amazing night where everyone came together in this extremely difficult period for professional wrestling.
