Mohammed Shami recorded the second most wickets in an IPL season as an Indian bowler (28 wickets). Harshal Patel holds the record for most wickets in an IPL season as an Indian bowler (also the most wickets record in an IPL season) with 32 wickets in IPL 2021.
Afghan leg-spinner Rashid Khan equalled the record for most wickets in an IPL season by a spinner (27 wickets). Indian leggie Yuzvendra Chahal previously took 27 wickets in IPL 2022.
