In IPL 2023, Gujarat Titans cricketer Shubman Gill managed the second most runs in an IPL season with 890 runs. Only Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bangalore) recorded higher runs than Gill in an IPL season as well as in a T20 tournament. RCB cricketer Kohli scored 973 runs during IPL 2016.
