Shubman Gill

This was the easiest selection of them all as Shubman Gill has been the best player of the IPL and he absolutely needs to be in this 11. He has made 890 runs this season and he will be the man who will play throughout the innings.

Faf Du Plessis (Captain)

It was a very tough choice between Faf Du Plessis and Yashasvi Jaiswal but the season Faf Du Plessis has had cannot be ignored as he has been the best overseas Batter and he should be in this team. He has made 730 runs this IPL season and he is a big six hitting batter as well.

MIDDLE ORDER

Virat Kohli

There cannot be a team of the IPL this year and it not have Virat Kohli in it because he was back at his best this season and he hit 639 from the 14 Matches he played in and he got 2 centuries and he was batting at a strike rate of over 140 and he is getting better and better.

Surya Kumar Yadav

There should not even be a debate as to who is the number 4 in this team as the number 1 batter In this format takes his rightful place in the team. He has made 605 runs at a whopping strike rate of 181 which is the second best in this season and he made one of the best hundreds ever seen in IPL cricket.

Heinrich Klaasen (Wicket Keeper)

At number 5 will be this South African batter as he has been the best overseas middle order batter and he will also be the wicket keeper in this team. Heinrich Klaasen made 448 runs at a strike rate of over 172 and he also made one of the best hundreds of the IPL.

Rinku Singh

This was the second easiest selection in this team because no other middle order batter has had the kind of impact that Rinku Singh has had and other than the winner of this season it will be Rinku Singh who will be remembered. He scored 474 runs batting at number 6 and he had a strike rate of over 150 and he made multiple half centuries and won matches single handedly.

Ravindra Jadeja

At number 7 there can be no other option that Ravindra Jadeja as he has had his best IPL season with the ball and everyone knows how good with the bat he is. He can also be the second spinner in the team and he can tonk the ball. He took 20 wickets this season which was the most for him in an IPL season and he won the final for CSK.

BOWLERS

Rashid Khan

At number 8 there can only be one selection and that is Rashid Khan because no other overseas player had an impact like him with both bat and ball and he is a proper all rounder but since he is mainly a bowler therefore he is in the bowlers section. He has taken 27 Wickets in this season which is his best one yet and he has also made 150 runs with an innings where he hit 10 sixes.

Mohammad Siraj

The best bowler from the RCB team was Mohammad Siraj and during the powerplay he was one of the best in the IPL and RCB reached where they reached in the tournament because of the way Mohammad Siraj Bowled for them and he will compliment the other Bowlers very well in this team as he took 19 wickets this IPL season.

Mohit Sharma

The comeback story of the IPL and the single best Indian bowler in the death overs of the innings. He only played 14 Matches this IPL season and he has taken 27 Wickets at an economy of under 8 which is remarkable. He will be very effective at the death with his slower balls and the teams will find it difficult to read him.

Matheesha Pathirana

At number 11 is the Sri Lankan death specialist Bowler who is an expert at bowling in the final overs of an innings and his partnership with Mohit Sharma will be lethal and the batters will bit find it easy to get runs from either end. He has taken 19 wickets this season and he will only get better as the years go by.
