The 30-year-old New Zealand cricketer Devon Conway recently completed his 4000 T20 runs during an IPL 2022 match. The left-handed batter became the fourth fastest to complete 4000 T20 runs.
Currently, Devon Conway is busy serving Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2022 contest. After scoring three consecutive fifties, Conway has recently scored a duck and five runs in the ongoing IPL season.
Last Sunday (15th May) afternoon, CSK met Gujarat Titans in the 62nd game of the IPL 2022 at Wankhede Stadium. In-form Conway only managed to score five runs in the first innings of the game before the pacer Mohammed Shami took his wicket.

Devon Conway reached the 4000 T20 runs milestone in 116 innings
But during that single-digit score, Conway completed his 4000 T20 runs. The left-handed batter achieved that milestone in 116 T20 innings (121 T20 matches). At the end of his 116 T20 innings, Conway scored 4001 runs.
During that milestone achievement, Conway became the fourth fastest to complete 4000 runs in T20 cricket.

Talking about the fastest New Zealand batters to complete 4000 runs in T20 cricket, Martin Guptill is in the next position of Devon Conway as Guptill completed it in 133 T20 innings (138 T20 matches). However, we have also to remember that Conway began his T20 career as a South African when he served for the Dolphins against Knights at Bloemfontein during the Standard Bank Pro20 Series on 2nd February 2011.
