Royal Rumble 2023 is just 5 days away and the match card is set for the show with the chance of one more match being added. The Royal Rumble 2023 will be held on the 28th January in San Antonio Texas at the Alamodome and thus it will air in India on 29th early morning. More than 50,000 fans are expected to attend the show and it is shaping up to be the biggest Royal Rumble of all time.
There are only 5 Matches as of now that are set for the Royal Rumble and 2 of them are Royal Rumble Matches and there is a lot of excitement for the show , even more so than the previous few years.
So, let’s look at the Match Card for the show
LA Knight vs Bray Wyatt – Pitch Black Match
This is one of the only matches which are not for any title or a Royal Rumble Match and the build to this match has been incredible especially with all the promo segments as well as the inclusion of Uncle Howdy. The Raw 30th Anniversary saw The Undertaker involved with this story and that has made this match a must see. And the stipulation is a very unique one and no one knows what the match will be like and having 2 of them will create magic in this match. Bray Wyatt will most likely win this match as it will be his first match back after years.
Bianca Belair vs Alexa Bliss – Raw Women’s Championship
This is one of the 2 title Matches that are scheduled for this show and it will be Bianca Belair vs Alexa Bliss and this match is new and fresh and thus the WWE fans are excited for it. And Alexa Bliss is getting a heel turn in this story and Uncle Howdy is also involved in this story which makes 2 Matches in this show connected to each other. Even after all that it will be Bianca Belair who will get the win as she has got big plans for WrestleMania 39

Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens – WWE Universal Championship
This is the biggest title match on this show shd it will feature 2 superstars who know the Royal Rumble stage all too well. This will be the third match in the trilogy between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble after they had one in 2017 and the other in 2021. They are at 1-1 when it comes to the Royal Rumble and in this match they will look to have their best match and there are so many other stories in this match like the one with Sami Zayn. Roman Reigns will win this match and continue his reign because he has got huge plans for WrestleMania 39.
Women’s Royal Rumble Match
This is one of the 2 Royal Rumble Matches and this match is particularly exciting this year because only 7 out of 30 women have been Announced for the match which leaves 23 slots which could be a surprise. This is the most that has been left announced and the belief is that some of the biggest legends as well as some shockers will be witnessed in this match. It has the potential to be an all timer of a Rumble Match. Rhea Ripley is the favorite to win the Women’s Royal Rumble Match and she deserves to win.
Men’s Royal Rumble Match
The main event of the show will be this match as it is mostly the case with the show. A total of 15 WWE superstars have been announced for this match which leaves 15 spots for surprises meaning half of the field could be anybody. This could be the biggest Royal Rumble Match of all time if Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock both appear in this match and have a face to face. There will be more surprises in store and the show cannot come soon enough.
Match That Could be Added
Becky Lynch vs Bayley – Steel Cage Match
This is the one match that could be added to the show because of what happened at Raw 30th Anniversary show and these 2 are the best of the best and WWE would not want to make them feel disrespected especially under Triple H and so this steel cage could be added to the show with Damage Ctrl banned from ringside.
