Yesterday was Monday Night Raw from Chicago and Triple H decided that it was time to make an announcement that would Rock the foundation of WWE and the fans were guessing what it could be and one of those guesses was a new World title because Raw has not had a World Championship since the last few years. Triple H announced that a new World Heavyweight Championship will be introduced in the brand that Roman Reigns will not be on which will be Raw.
While all the fans in the arena and the wide WWE fanbase loved it , there were however a few Twitter wrestling fans who were complaining and they thought that it would be a consolation prize because nobody could defeat Roman Reigns and they could not be more wrong.
Let’s look at the reasons why the new World Heavyweight Championship will be great for WWE:
Finally Monday Night Raw will have a World Heavyweight Championship
The biggest upside to this new title being introduced is that Monday Night Raw will finally have a World Championship that all the Superstars will be able to fight for and they will make sure that this title becomes one of the most important titles in WWE and the promo that Seth Rollins gave on Raw instantly raised the importance of the new title. The title looks absolutely stunning so that is always a positive. The likes of Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor and so many others have a prize to win.

Roman Reigns can continue his reign for a longer period of time
There is an upside to Roman Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship because those titles will be on one brand and now Roman Reigns can have an even longer reign and the fans will not complain much because there will still be another World Heavyweight Championship that will be defended regularly and the WWE superstars will make sure that this new title is the real World Championship. And Roman Reigns can defend his titles once every few months. WWE has tried to strike two targets with one move.
This will become the workhorse World Championship
WWE fans have heard about the Workhorse Intercontinental Championship and how that is the wrestlers title, it is time that this new World Heavyweight Championship should also become the workhorse World Championship and as Triple H said that this will be defended all around the world and in every major show which was not happening with Roman Reigns as Champion and so the wrestlers will make sure to have banger matches for this title and thus It will become the Workhorse World Championship. And then Roman Reigns will have to give his best to make sure that the World Heavyweight Championship does not overshadow his titles.
