WWE Backlash will take place on 6th May 2023 in San Juan Puerto Rico and it will be on a Saturday. It will have been 18 years since 2005 that Puerto Rico has had a major WWE PPV in their country and this will be a big opportunity for all the fans in Puerto Rico to show up and make noise and having the biggest star from the region as the host was genius.

It is a win-win situation for WWE and Triple H is a genius for taking WWE shows to new countries outside of the USA.
Having Bad Bunny as the host will help get more money for WWE
It was one thing to have a WWE PPV in Puerto Rico but Triple H went one step further as he brought to host the show Possibly the biggest name out of that region which is Bad Bunny as he is the biggest superstar in the world and everyone knows his name and half of the fans who come to the show will come just to watch him. Bad Bunny will also drive sponsorship revenue for WWE and it is again a win for all parties.
Native Puerto Rico Stars will get to compete as well as the biggest names
By having this show in Puerto Rico and going by all the rumors it looks like the biggest names in WWE will be at this show and there are some native Puerto Rico Stars in WWE as well such as Damian Priest who has wanted to perform in front of his home fans for the longest time and Bad Bunny who is the host could also have a match at that show against Logan Paul who will he there. Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will also be there as well Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair will be there as well so it will not be a B level show by any means which will be Another thing that attracts more fans.
