News has been circling around that Triple H has decided that there will be fewer WrestleMania Matches as compared to last year and only the WWE Superstars who are the best and most deserving will be put on the show. This news has brought about a lot of reactions from the fans and from WWE superstars behind the scenes.
This is a tricky situation because WrestleMania is the biggest show of the year and every WWE superstar wants to perform or get a spot at this show because they have worked hard all year and this is their reward and every year there would be Battle Royal Matches that would allow the Superstars who do not have a match on the card to get a spot.

WrestleMania is the biggest WWE show of the year and tens of millions of fans watch the show across the world and those who are not regular watchers of the product even want to watch WrestleMania because WWE was a part of their childhood and WrestleMania is everything. Therefore not everyone can be put on because WWE needs to show the fans that they have the best Wrestlers. And the ones who are not good enough will not be featured.
It should be always quality over quantity and WWE has often been seen as being the other way around during the Vince McMahon era and Triple H thinks differently as before he would have 5 Takeover matches but they would all be show stealers and therefore having lesser matches but those being of higher quality will make the shoes that much better. Having 6-7 Matches per night is way better than having 8-9 and the shows are shorter as well.

The WWE superstars are not too happy behind the scenes as they feel they will be left out from the biggest show of the year even after working so hard throughout the year and going to house shows as well. And their points are valid as they feel that they are being left out and they will feel hurt but they need to understand that the overall quality of the shoes is the most important thing and they should take this as motivation and work harder and earn a WrestleMania spot next year.
