Money in the Bank 2023 was easily one of the best WWE shows of the past few years and certainly one of the best of this past year where all the PPVs have been absolutely amazing and Triple H has been at the peak of his creative booking powers. This card was stacked and in this article all the matches other than the Bloodline Civil War match will be talked about because the Bloodstream Civil War deserves to be talked about on its own.
There were a total of 7 Matches on this card and there was a huge surprise segment as well and all the Matches were excellent and the show was more than 3 and a half hours long.
So, let’s look at the Results of the Money in the Bank 2023:
Damian Priest wins Men’s Money in the Bank Match
The first Match on this show was the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match and this was a match full of the most talented WWE superstars on the Roster. This match had LA Knight, Logan Paul, Damian Priest, Santos Escobar, Butch, Ricochet and Shinsuke Nakamura. This was an incredible 21 minutes ladder match and all 7 men were determined to win the match but the fans all over the world were in favour of LA Knight to win this match and the match had some great spots with ladders, tables and the wrestlers took risks. In the end it was looking like LA Knight would finally win but Damian Priest won the match at the last minute and he was a deserving winner.

Liv Morgan and Raquel beat Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey for WWE Women’s tag team titles
This was the second match on the show and this match had the unenviable task of following the great ladder match and these 4 women did the best they could and they had a good 9 minutes match and the crowd was on their feet for the face team and the match and it was looking like Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey were going to win but Shayna Baszler turned on Ronda Rousey and the fans loved it and Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez regained the tag team titles.

Gunther beat Matt Riddle for Intercontinental Championship
This was the third match of the show and the shortest match as well and just wish that these two incredible wrestlers were given much more time to create magic but in the short time they were given which was 8 minutes they still had one of the better matches of the night and Matt Riddle gave Gunther everything he could handle but in the end his ankle gave away and Gunther made Matt Riddle tap out. However the real story was after the match as Drew McIntyre returned to WWE for the first time since WrestleMania and the Rumours of his departure were finally put to rest. And now it looks like the Intercontinental Championship match for SummerSlam is official.

Cody Rhodes beat Dominik Mysterio
This was the match where the crowd was one of the loudest it has been the whole night because it was the best face vs the best heel in WWE and this was the match where there could have been so much more done and 9 minutes was not enough for these 2 men. Cody Rhodes was the superior wrestler but Dominik Mysterio was such a good heel who was scared to wrestle him and Rhea Ripley had to help him so much. The fans were eating it all up and in the end Cody Rhodes was better and after hitting a Cody Cutter and a Cross Rhodes he won the match and now Brock Lesnar awaits at SummerSlam.

John Cena returned to shock everyone
Then the most shocking return happened and this was not reported anywhere or no news was out and so when the music of John Cena hit then if shocked everyone at the arena and all the fans watching at home and he was at his electric best and he surprised the fans and the crowd there was losing their minds when he said that he wants to bring WrestleMania to London. This was totally unexpected and then Grayson Waller interrupted him and he was having the biggest moment of his young career and he was very good and he said that WrestleMania should come to Australia and then he attacked John Cena and got hit with an AA for good measure.

Iyo Sky wins Women’s Money in the Bank Match
After that great segment it was time for the Women’s Money in the bank and the participants were Iyo Sky, Bayley, Becky Lynch, Zoey Stark, Zelina Vega and Trish Stratus. This was one of the better Women’s Money in the Bank Matches and the wrestlers were going all out to entertain the fans and they had a brilliant 18 minutes ladder match where everyone had their Moments and Zoey Stark, Iyo Sky and Zelina Vega had their Moments where they showed the biggest audience as to what they could do in the ring and in the end it was Iyo Sky who tied Becky Lynch to Bayley and they were both in handcuffs and she won the match and the right person won this match.
Seth Rollins beat Finn Balor for World Heavyweight Championship
The second last match of the show was the match for the World Heavyweight Championship and this was one of the most anticipated matches of the show as it was 7 years in the making and these 2 were two of the best in the ring and Seth Rollins was getting serenaded by the fans with his theme song. The match was for 13 minutes and both Seth and Finn were having a great one and Damian Priest came out with his contract and it looked like he was going to cash in and he cost Finn Balor the match and the championship and the fractions in Judgement Day were visible.
