Tokyo Olympics 2020 India Badminton Full Schedule and Time

The Olympic Games, which were originally slated to take place from July 24 to August 9, 2020, have been rescheduled for July 23 to August 8, 2021, due to the COVID-19 epidemic. India will have the greatest number of 125 athletes competing in these Games, with 70 men and 55 women. India has competed in every Summer Olympic Games since 1920, despite making their official debut at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris. The Games' opening ceremony will take place on July 23 at Tokyo's newly built National Stadium, while the closing ceremony will take place on August 8. The Indian badminton squad will also compete in the forthcoming competition.

Saina Nehwal, Srikanth Kidambi, and Pusarla Venkata Sindhu are among the top-10 players in the current BWF rankings. Prakash Padukone was the first Indian player to reach the top rank in the game, followed by Srikanth Kidambi, who reached the top spot as a male player for the second time in April 2018, and Saina Nehwal, who reached the top spot as a female player for the first time in April 2015. Jwala Gutta, India's most successful doubles player, is the only Indian to have been placed in the top-10 of two categories. She was ranked no. 6 in mixed doubles with Valiyaveetil Diju and no. 10 in women's doubles with Ashwini Ponnappa. Here we take a look at the Indian Badminton contingent’s full schedule at the upcoming games. But before that, let’s check out the shuttlers who have made it to the Tokyo Olympics.
