The 33-year-old South African cricketer Rilee Rossouw became the tenth batter and first South African to score a century in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup history when he scored his second T20I century against Bangladesh in the recent Group 2 match of the Super 12 stage at Sydney.
Rilee Rossouw, who just scored 100 not out off 48 balls in his previous T20I innings against India at Indore early this month, scored match-winning 109 runs in 56 balls against Bangladesh at Sydney. The left-handed batter came to bat at the third position. After scoring the first 50 runs in 30 balls, Rossouw completed his second T20I century in 52 balls.

After Indian Suresh Raina (101 vs South Africa at Gros Islet in 2010) and New Zealander Brendon McCullum (123 vs Bangladesh at Pallekele in 2012), Rossouw became the third non-opener to score a century in Men’s T20 World Cup.
Rossouw’s 109 is the fifth highest individual score in a Men’s T20 World Cup match.
