The six-time champions Australia Women are ready to create another new history in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.
On 26 August 2024, Cricket Australia (CA) announced the 15-member full Australia Women squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.
Although Bangladesh won the hosting rights of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, the tournament has been shifted to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the present tense situation in Bangladesh. However, Bangladesh have the hosting rights for the upcoming tournament.
In the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, Australia Women will start from Group A, where they will face Sri Lanka Women, New Zealand Women, Pakistan Women, and India Women.

Australia Women have reached at least semi-finals in all eight previous ICC Women’s T20 World Cups. Meanwhile, they played ICC Women’s T20 World Cup finals for all last seven editions. Apart from finishing as the runners-up in 2016, Australia Women won six Women’s T20 World Cups (2010, 2012, 2014, 2018, 2020, and 2023), including winning the last three editions.
