Teamwork is very much important in every game. It is very much important to have good coordination between the players to succeed in a game. Cricket is a game in which the partnerships built by the batsmen can change the course of the game.
Here we can take a look in to the highest partnerships of any wicket in the T20I history:
1. Hazratullah Zazai and Usman Ghani:
Afghanistan is one of the newbies to the world of International cricket. But this team has shown their passion and talent in this game within this short span of time. There are many notable performances that have emerged from the Afghan team so far in International cricket. One among that is the highest partnership in the T20 international. On 23rd February 2019, in the T20I match held against Ireland, openers of Afghan team Hazratullah Zazai and Usman Ghani scored the highest partnership in T20 history of 236 runs.
2. AJ Finch and DJM Short:
Finch is one of the best T20 players in the world. He has noted his names along with many batting records in T20 cricket. The record for the second highest partnership in T20I is by AJ Finch and DJM Short. It was on 3rd July 2018 these players made this amazing knock. In the match against Zimbabwe at the Harare stadium these two players made a first wicket partnership of 223 which is the second highest partnership ever.
3. HG Munsey and KJ Coetzer:
Scotland openers HG Munsey and KJ Coetzer have the record of making the third highest partnership in T20 internationals. In the match against Netherlands on 16th September 2019, they made a first wicket opening partnership of 200 runs which paved the foundation for the team's victory.
4. DJ Malan and EJG Morgan:
The fourth highest partnership in T20 is made by English players. Players DJ Malan and EJG Morgan in a match against New Zealand on 8th November 2019 made a third wicket partnership of 182 runs, which is the fourth overall highest and the highest in 3rd wicket.
5. MJ Guptill and KS Williamson:
During Pakistan's tour of New Zealand in the year 2016 MJ Guptill and Kane Williamson scored a total of 171 runs in the first wicket. It was in the T20 match held on 17th January 2016 at the Hamilton stadium. This was the highest partnership at that time and the highest not out partnership till date.
