This match had the record for the greatest win margin in one day International cricket. New Zealand demolished Ireland by 290 runs and it was the most one sided ODI match in history. Australia vs Afghanistan (275 Runs):

This match took place in 2015 where Australia completely destroyed the Afghan team that day . David Warner was merciless that day and he smashed the Afghan Bowlers to all parts of the ground and scored a massive 178 runs consisting of 19 Fours. Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell also played impressive innings and led Australia to a massive score of 417 runs and in reply the Afghanistan batters could not even outscore David Warner and got bundled out for 142 runs and thereby giving the Aussies a massive win of 275 runs.

South Africa vs Zimbabwe (272 Runs):

This match took place in 2010, South Africa took apart the Zimbabwe team that day. Batting first JP Duminy and AB De Villiers smashed centuries and South Africa hit 399 runs in the first innings and in reply the Zimbabwe team could only muster 127 runs and South Africa won the match by 272 runs.

This is an unusual match as it only happens once in a 100 matches between two top teams where the win margin is so huge. This match took place in the year 2012 and batting first South Africa made only 301 runs and it’s really baffling that Sri Lanka lost the match by 258 runs chasing not such a big total as they got bundled out for only 43 runs and it was one of those matches that Sri Lanka would love to forget the very next day that it happened.

India vs Bermuda (257 Runs):

This match was one of the most memorable matches during the year 2007 and this match was the first time the Indian team crossed the 400 run barrier in ODI cricket. The opponents were Bermuda and batting first Sourav Ganguly and Virender Sehwag gave blistering starts to the Indian innings and Sehwag went on to make a brilliant century and in the lower order Yuvraj Singh and Sachin Tendulkar hot great half centuries to guide India to a massive total of 413 runs and in reply Bermuda could only make 156 runs and this helped India win the match by 257 runs and thus making it one of the most memorable days for Indian cricket.
