There are a total of 3 Matches that have been booked for WrestleMania 39 and in this article all the 3 matches will be looked at as to how they are being booked by creative on the Road to WrestleMania 39 which is just under 3 weeks away. 3 is too few numbers to have for women’s matches and there should be at least 1 more match to make it 4 Matches.
The 3 Matches that have been announced are for both the Women’s titles and a dream 6 women tag team match where the best of the best will compete. WrestleMania is the biggest stage of the year and as many talented women as possible should be able to perform on this show.
So, let’s look at the build for each of the 3 Matches so far.
Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley for SmackDown Women’s Championship
The first of the 3 women’s matches and the only match out of the 3 that has a real possibility of main eventing WrestleMania is this match between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley. This will also be the first ever one on one rematch for the women in WrestleMania history as both these women have faced each other at WrestleMania 36. The build to this match was that Rhea Ripley wants to get revenge from Charlotte Flair for her loss at WrestleMania 36 and she wants to break Flair mentally as well. And Charlotte Flair is like before where she believes in herself so much that she thinks it will be easy work. There could have been more tension in the build but it’s good.
Bianca Belair vs Asuka for Raw Women’s Championship
The second match of the show is the match between Bianca Belair vs Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship and this has been the weakest build to WrestleMania so far as there has been no tension whatsoever and both these women are faces so that is not helping either. They are building this as two great wrestlers who respect each other and that is not good enough especially for WrestleMania as both these women deserve much better booking and hopefully in the next few weeks there will be tension between the two of them.

Trish Stratus,Lita and Becky Lynch vs Damage Ctrl
This is the third match of WrestleMania and frankly this has been the best build women’s match of the show so far because there is actual beef and tension between the 2 groups and the Feud between Becky Lynch and Bayley has been going on for months and it will culminate in this dream match where Becky Lynch will team with Lita and Trish Stratus who are 2 of the greatest of all time and the fans are equally excited for this match. And there could be shocks when this match takes place at WrestleMania 39.
