Clash at the Castle is in the books and I can safely say that it is among the best PPVs of the last few years and especially the best of this year. The in ring work of all the wrestlers on this card from top to bottom was top notch and I did not mind staying late in the night one bit and one of the other main reasons that this show was as good as it was is the crowd of 62,300 fans shouting and chanting in every match. This is a show that I will never forget and the future of WWE is really exciting.
Before we get into the first part of the results, I want to say Thank You to Triple H that he cares about the fans so much and that for 3 and a half hours I was able to have the time of my life and watch WWE and Marvel at all these wrestlers who were putting on banger after Banger. So let’s get to the results.
Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky vs Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss and Asuka
This was the match that opened the show and these ladies were in a good spot as the crowd was hot and they gave them all the love. This first match set the tone as to what the show was going to be like and that all the matches were going to get time and all the six ladies got great pops from the crowd when they made their entrances and as soon as the match began the UK fans sang for Bayley and she was loving it. This was a good paced match where the Damage Ctrl trip got to show their team moves and the other trio also shined and there were close finishes ss well but after a great 19 minutes match Bayley pinned Bianca Belair for the first time in this year and this sets up a great Raw Women’s Championship feud for the future.
Gunther vs Sheamus – Intercontinental Championship
Now came the match that almost everyone was excited about and these 2 knew they had to deliver a special one and that’s exactly what they did. I rarely flinch or feel uneasy while watching WWE but this match made me uncomfortable at times because of how physical it was. During the entrances the fans went crazy for Sheamus and when Gunther made his entrance it was the whole imperium together as a Group. At the start of the match Gunther and Sheamus stood there while their pals were fighting and then they went at it and the chest of Sheamus was full of colors ranging from the red of blood to blue to white. Gunther chopped the hell out of him and Sheamus even best him a lot and it looked like Sheamus was going to win but Gunther hit him with the clothesline and pinned him after one of the best Matches of the year.

Liv Morgan vs Shayna Baszler – SmackDown Women’s Championship
I feel bad for these 2 women that they were put in such a tough spot following that barnburner of a match for the Intercontinental Championship but I was hoping that they get time and the fans will get into it and that’s exactly what happened. Triple h gave them time and these 2 had a great match where Shayna dominated the first half of the match and it looked like she was going to win but the champion came back and she showed a lot of heart and grit and after 11 minutes of good wrestling Liv Morgan got the pin on Shayna and this did a lot for her title reign going forward. Till now all the 3 matches have been delivered and in Part 2 we will look at the other 3 Matches.
