The 2023 Formula 1 season has started and with it the excitement and the tension of these races are back after more than 3 months and all Formula 1 fans were treated to a great race they saw a lot of ebbs and flows through the 57 laps of the race and there were some absolute shockers as well and it was the perfect start for one team in particular and one team surprised everyone yesterday.
The first race of the season has set the tone of what is to come in the months that follow and a couple of the big teams need to pull their socks or else they will be left behind.

So, let’s look at the Results of the 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix:
Race Results
The race started with Max Verstappen on pole and Charles Leclerc had the perfect start as he overtook Sergio Perez for P2 in the first lap. Lap 2 and it shows that both the Aston Martin drivers were close to colliding but both Stroll and Alona were good to go and Max Verstappen had already got a 2 second lead of the race. Lap 5 and everything is happening as Charles Leclerc, Sergio Perez, Carlos Sainz, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton fight it out. Lap 9 and Sergio Perez are 1 second behind Charles Leclerc who is struggling as is Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes. Lap 12 and Lando Norris is struggling and it is not looking good for him.

Lap 13 and Fernando Alonso and George Russell had the first big tussle for P6 and eventually Fernando Alonso took that spot . It is Lap 14 and Oscar Piastri is forced to retire from his first Formula 1 race. Lap 24 and a good fight between Lando Norris and Esteban Ocon with the former overtaking the other. Lap 26 and Sergio Perez overtakes Charles Leclerc for P2 and Max Verstappen Is still in P1 by 14 seconds. Everything is happening in Lap 28 and the four drivers or Mercedes and Aston Martin are fighting for positions and Esteban Ocon is having a bad day as he first got a 5 second penalty and after that he got another 10 second penalty for incorrectly serving the previous 5 seconds and then another 5 seconds for speeding on the pit lane.

Lap 30 and Nico Hulkenberg gets the fastest lap of the race in P18. Lap 33 and a fight between George Russell and Lance Stroll is here with both not giving an inch. Lap 39 and the two greats are going at it in Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso and at the end it was Alonso who gets to P5. Lap 41 and Charles Leclerc was out of the race and it just got worse for Ferrari. Lap 43 and a battle for P3 is on between Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso and the fans are loving it. Lap 45 and Fernando Alonso takes P3 and it will be a podium for him in his first race for Aston Martin. It is the end of the race and it is a perfect 1 and 2 for Red Bull and Fernando Alonso gets P3.
