This is one of the most exciting races of the F1 calendar for the drivers as this is one of the fastest F1 race circuits In the world and thus the drivers can show how fast they can be and show their skills as well and entertain the Jeddah fans that will come to watch this race. This is an important race for RedBull and the reigning World champion Max Verstappen who had a horrible start to the new season and he will be looking forward to making things right. The Start


The first race of this Grand Prix happened last year only in 2021 and it was won by Lewis Hamilton who also had the fastest lap of the race and this race was at the end of last season but it has been bumped to the second spot in this year’s season. This Grand Prix is Saudi Arabia’s entry into the Formula one calender and it was a fast track and a long one as well. The start was great and thus it will be a constant fixture of the Formula 1 calendar moving forward and in this season it will be a crucial race for all the drivers to build early momentum.


Facts about Jeddah Corniche Circuit


The first race on this circuit was in 2021 and it was the first time that Saudi Arabia hosted a Grand Prix.

The winner of the inaugural race was Lewis Hamilton who won a crucial race in the title race against Max Verstappen last year.

The fastest lap on this Grand Prix was also by Lewis Hamilton who clocked a lap time of 1:30:754. Let’s see if the record is broken this year.

The number of laps in this Grand Prix is 50 laps which is a good amount of laps for all the drivers to test themselves again this year.

The length of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit is 6.174 kms which makes it one of the longest tracks in the Formula 1 calendar.

It will be the second quickest track on the Formula 1 calendar at an average of 252.8 km/h only behind Monza in Italy which is at 264.4km/h

It has more corners than any other track on the Formula 1 circuit at 27 corners.

This race at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in the 2022 season will be most important for Max Verstappen and RedBull who will look to get on the points board as soon as possible and the Ferrari drivers will look to continue their dominant driving for the second race in a row and the other drivers will look to better their performance from the Bahrain Grand Prix 2022.
