In 2021, we have experienced some great competitions in the Premier League. There is a long list of PL managerial exits in this calendar year which proves that they are facing immense challenges in this competition. In this tough PL managerial period, some names still have maintained their strong positions as managers for their respective clubs.

David Moyes (West Ham United)
Former Manchester United manager David Moyes is definitely a special name among the top Premier League managers in 2021. Talking about West Ham United’s performances under Moyes’ management, it has incredibly improved. Hammers are now challenging the top Premier League sides.
After finishing in the sixth position in the 2020/21 PL season, Moyes’ Hammers have continued the massive improvement image in the ongoing season as they are currently in the fifth spot in the PL points table. They are one of the most consistent PL sides in this calendar year, who have already earned 70 PL points this year (21 wins, 7 draws and 11 losses).
Jürgen Klopp (Liverpool)
Talking about the top Premier League managers in 2021, German manager Jürgen Klopp is a must-select name. Due to the highly tough competition and regular long fitness issues inside the major squad, Klopp’s Liverpool are hugely struggling to put their hands on top. However, the skilful manager has continued his familiar process to build up a stronger side.
After finishing in the third position in the 2020/21 Premier League, Liverpool have also majorly maintained the top three positions in the present PL season. Currently, The Reds are standing in the second spot in the ongoing PL points table. Klopp’s Liverpool have already earned 77 points this year (23 wins, 8 draws and 9 losses) while Klopp has won one Premier League Manager of the Month award this year (May).

Mikel Arteta (Arsenal)
Arsenal are developing a passionate youth side and Mikel Arteta has very strong faith in his boys. Last August, no one could consider Arteta in the list of best Premier League managers in 2021 as his job was in turmoil after one of the worst PL starts from the Gunners. But apart from that horrific month, Arteta’s Arsenal have majorly maintained consistent performances in this calendar year.
Arsenal have already gained 73 PL points this year (22 wins, 7 draws and 11 losses). After finishing in the eighth position in the 2020/21 Premier League, Arteta’s boys are now standing in the fourth spot in the ongoing PL points table even despite their worst start this season.
While Arteta had a discouraging period in August, he has inspired many people by winning the Premier League Manager of the Month award in September.
Thomas Tuchel (Chelsea)
Another German manager Thomas Tuchel has set a high example in the Premier League. Since his joining Chelsea in late January 2021, the Blues has only raised the bar of their game. His presence helped the struggling Chelsea suddenly become one of the top sides in Europe as they not only finished in the fourth spot in the 2020/21 Premier League points table, but they also won the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League.
After Tuchel has taken the charge of this London club, Chelsea have earned 76 PL points (22 wins, 10 draws and 5 losses). Currently, Chelsea are in the third position in the 2021/22 Premier League. However, they consistently maintained the top spot of the ongoing PL points table for many past game weeks.
Tuchel has won two Premier League Manager of the Month awards this calendar year (March and October).
Pep Guardiola (Manchester City)
There is no surprise to see the Spanish manager Pep Guardiola is on top of the list of top Premier League managers in 2021. His Manchester City have already got 104 PL points in this year (34 wins, 2 draws and 6 losses), which is one of the strongest performances in the European domestic leagues.
While dominant Guardiola’s City won the 2020/21 PL trophy as well as the 2020/21 EFL trophy, they just missed out on the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League trophy by finishing as the runners-up. Currently, the Sky Blues are leading the 2021/22 PL points table.
In 2021, Guardiola has already won three Premier League Manager of the Month awards (January, February and November). He is enjoying the constant challenges in the PL as the incredible manager has many answers for his strong competitors.
