In an effort to assemble a squad of Parisians, Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has warned the club's key players, including Neymar, that they may be sold this summer. PSG has already begun making plans for the summer hiring period. Sporting adviser Luis Campos' performance has been questioned following a bad start to the year, which included suffering more losses before March (5) than in all of the previous year (4). This was made worse after he failed to sign players during the January transfer window. However, the Portuguese manager hopes to strengthen the group in the upcoming weeks.
Keeping that in mind and with Lionel Messi and Neymar’s potential departures, PSG could have a big summer in terms of transfers.
Kim Min-Jae
PSG joined the competition to capture Kim Min Jae, the outstanding defence for Napoli, in the summer. In an effort to revitalize PSG following yet another defeat in Europe, rumours claim that Luis Ocampos is considering making a bid for the centre-back. The 26-year-old will also be eligible to sign with overseas teams between July 1 and July 15, 2023, for a sum between €45 million and €50 million.
Kolo Muani
The cost of Kolo Muani may be a barrier for PSG. In the Bundesliga, he has 10 goals and 12 assists, totalling 15 and 14 in all competitions. The German team has set a price of €100 million, which the club cannot now afford to pay because they would be subject to the new Financial Fair Play regulations. He could be a really good addition given his compatibility to play alongside Kylian Mbappe.
Rafael Leao
In order to replace top player, Lionel Messi, PSG plans to sign Rafael Leo from AC Milan. Messi's future at PSG is unknown, and when his contract ends in June, he may depart. Leo's contract with AC Milan expires the next year, and the Serie A winners may decide to transfer him for less given Les Parisiens' interest.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
With 13 goals and 15 assists in 29 games, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been a star player for Napoli this season in both the league and Europe. Some of the top teams in Europe, like PSG, have taken notice of his achievements.
Marcus Thuram
Marcus Thuram is a far better choice, especially because he will become a free agent in June of this year when his contract ends. Roland Virkus, the sports director of Borussia Mönchengladbach, has revealed that the French international will go in the summer.
