The International Cricket Council (ICC) recently announced the annual awards for the cricketers.
Match officials in different aspects, where the winners impressed in the major period of the calendar year 2022.
Apart from announcing five different Teams of the Year, ICC Awards 2022 acknowledged the special names for 13 separate awards.

13. ICC Umpire of the Year 2022 (David Shepherd Trophy)

It was the second time Richard Illingworth won this award. He previously won this award for the year 2019.
