Patna Pirates is the only team to win three PKL trophies. Moreover, they won three successive PKL trophies, twice in 2016 and once in 2017. In the 2021/22 edition, they also experienced another PKL final, but Dabang Delhi beat them in that final.
In the PKL 2022, the Pirates had their worst-season experience by finishing in 10th place.
