The most successful Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) team Patna Pirates are ready for the 11th season of the PKL. The Patna-based team is eyeing another glorious PKL season.
The Patna Pirates are among the eight teams that played in the inaugural PKL season. The Pirates are the only team to win three PKL trophies. Moreover, they won three PKL trophies in successive seasons by winning PKL 3 (January-March 2016), PKL 4 (June-July 2016), and PKL 5 (2017).
Pirates are also the only team to play in four PKL finals. Apart from winning three PKL trophies, they played the other PKL final during the PKL 8, 2021/22 season. During the PKL 8, the Pirates lost the final against Dabang Delhi and finished as the runners-up.
In the last PKL season (2023/24), the Pirates reached the semi-finals but couldn’t make their fifth PKL final appearance.
