No T20 record list is complete without the name of Chris Gayle. Caribbean legend Chris Gayle has his name at multiple positions in most T20 batting records. During the IPL 2015, when Royal Challengers Bangalore hosted Kings XI Punjab, Gayle smashed 117 runs off 57 balls with the help of seven fours and 12 sixes.

AB de Villiers is worshipped among his fans for his amazing batting performances and fierce shots on the field. The right-handed batter was known as Mr. 360 for his incredible ability to play shots all around the wicket. In the IPL 2016, when Royal Challengers  Bangalore hosted Gujarat Lions, De Villiers scored 129 not out off 52 balls with ten fours and 12 sixes.

Caribbean legend Chris Gayle once again finds a spot in this list of players with the most sixes in an IPL innings. During the IPL 2012 match against the hosts Delhi Daredevils, the Royal Challengers Bangalore opener scored 128 not out off 62 balls with seven fours and 13 sixes.

New Zealand legend Brendon McCullum scored an unforgettable century in the very first match of the Indian Premier League. Playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders, he scored 158 not out from 73 balls against the hosts Royal Challengers Bangalore. During that historic first 150+ knock in T20 history, McCullum hit ten fours and 13 sixes.

The top of this list name is no shocker as Chris Gayle holds the record for the most sixes in an IPL innings. It was the historic IPL 2013 match between the hosts Royal Challengers Bangalore and Pune Warriors India. RCB opener Gayle set up the new record for the highest score in T20 cricket history by scoring 175 not out off 66 balls. During that innings, the left-handed opening batter smashed 13 fours and 17 sixes.
