The 2025 IPL Mega Auction will be held on the 24th and 25th November in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This will be the first time that the IPL Auction will be held in Saudi Arabia. There are a total of 202 players that will be up for grabs in the auction. Out of these a number of big Indian players will be ones who will be in most demand.

1) Rishabh Pant
The most In demand player at the IPL Auction will be Rishabh Pant. Delhi Capitals did not retain him before the Auction. He will be in demand from all the franchises. He has played 76 T20IS for India and he has made 1209 runs at a strike rate of 127.26. He has played 111 IPL Matches and all have been for Delhi Capitals. He has scored 3284 runs at a good strike rate of 148.93. He has a highest score of 128*. He is also a captaincy option and as a wicket keeper of the highest quality. Punjab Kings have 110.50 crores and they will go all out for Rishabh Pant.
2) Shreyas Iyer
The 2024 IPL winning captain was not retained by Kolkata Knight Riders. He is in the IPL Auction and he will be one of those players that will be in the sheets of most of the IPL teams. KKR were not able to come to terms on a price for retention. He has also taken Delhi Capitals to the final of the IPL. He has played 51 T20IS for India and has made 1104 runs at a strike rate of 136.13. Shreyas has played 118 IPL Matches and he has made 3127 runs at a strike rate of 127.48. 3) Arshdeep Singh
It was an absolute shocker that Arshdeep Singh was not retained by Punjab Kings at the IPL retentions. This has opened the door for all the teams who will need a fast bowler and especially the best left arm fast bowler in India. He has played 58 T20IS for India and he has taken 89 Wickets at a good average of 18.69. He has played 65 IPL Matches and has got 76 Wickets. Punjab Kings could use the Right To Match on him or teams like KKR could bid for him. Arshdeep Singh will be one of the most expensive buys at the Auction.
4) KL Rahul
KL Rahul and Lucknow Supergiants was an alliance that just crumbled in IPL 2024. LSG did not do well and the Strike rate of KL Rahul was in question. He will be motivated to do very well in 2025. He has played 72 T20Is for India. He has scored 2265 at an average of 37.75. KL Rahul has hit 2 hundreds for India in T20I Cricket. In the IPL he has played 132 Matches. He has made 4683 runs at an average of 45.47. He has a strike rate of 134.61 in the IPL. He has hit 4 hundreds in IPL Cricket. Teams like RCB will be looking to avail his services at the Top of the order. He is also a contender for captaincy.
5) Mohammad Shami
Mohammad Shami is an IPL legend. He won the 2022 IPL with Gujarat Titans. He was not retained this time because of injury concerns. However this will be a 3 year contract and Mohammad Shami would be fit by IPL 2025. He has played 110 IPL Matches. He has taken 127 Wickets at an economy Rate of 8.44. For India he has played 23 Matches and taken 24 Wickets. Mohammad Shami has become one of the fittest fast bowlers. Teams like KKR, Mumbai Indians will go hard to find this fast bowler.
