Getting out without scoring a run is one of the most devastating moments in international cricket. Being a duck in T20 is more devastating for the batsmen as it is the most destructive form of cricket.
Here is the list of the players who have been duck for most time in T20 cricket:
1. TM Dilshan:
Dilshan is one of the greatest batsmen from Sri Lanka. He has orchestrated many victories for the country across all the formats. In his T20 career, he has played a total of 80 matches and has scored 1889 runs. Off these 80 matches, he was duck for 10 games.
2. Umar Akmal:
Umar Akmal, playing for Pakistan in international cricket is a fine player in the T20 format. He has played 84 matches in T20 and has scored 1690 runs. With an individual highest of 94, he was also duck in 10 T20 matches in his career so far.
3. KJ O'Brien:
Playing for the Ireland national team, Kevin O'Brien is one of the finest cricketers in history. He has played some of the best innings in cricket history. Player for a total of 96 T20 matches, Kevin has scored 1672 runs so far. He also stands in the third position for being out for duck the most time. He was duck for 10 T20 matches so far.
4. LJ Wright:
Wright has played 51 T20 matches in his cricket career and has scored 759 runs from it. His individual high score is 99 runs. LJ Weight stands in the fourth position of most career ducks in T20. He was out without scoring a run in 9 matches.
5. PR Stirling:
Stirling is yet another cricket maestro from Ireland. Played in a total of 78 T20 internationals so far, he has scored a total of 2124 runs. He was out for a duck in 9 of the total international T20's he has played.
6. SL Malinga:
The Yorker specialist from Sri Lanka, Lasith Malinga is one of the best cricketers in all three formats. His amazing bowling spells have brought many victories to the team. He has represented his country in 84 T20 matches so far and has scored 136 career runs. Off the 84 matches he played, he was a duck in 8 matches and this gives him the sixth position in this list.
7. Soumya Sarkar:
Bangladesh player Soumya Sarkar has played 40 T20 internationals so far and has scored 885 runs. He was also out in 8 matches without scoring a single run.
8. NLTC Perera:
Peter has played 81 T10 matches in his career and has scored 1201 runs. His high score in T20I is 61 runs. Peter was also out for a zero in 8 matches he played.
