My 15 Member Squad for India at the T20I World Cup 2022

As the headline of the article reads this is my opinion as to what the squad of Team India should be at the upcoming World Cup in Australia later this year. All of us cricket fans will have our own squads and this is the fun that we can give different opinions and our aim is only 1 thing and that is how the Indian cricket team wins the World Cup. We as fans can make our voices heard and that is what I will try to do here today. We will talk about the details below but I want to say that this is my first time that I will be able to share my opinion with the rest of the community

This is a very complicated issue especially with the recent run of performances in the Asia Cup and the team has to be submitted before the 15th of September and the next series of India after this Asia Cup starts from the 20th so the team will be out before then. There are a few players that will get in easily and for some it will be interesting to see. So, let’s get to my 15 for India.

Rohit Sharma – Captain

The Captain has to be there and he is also one of the best batters in the world so he is the first member.

BATTERS

KL Rahul

KL Rahul has not been in the best of form but he is the best opener we have along with Rohit and the hope is he regains form before the World Cup.

Virat Kohli

He is an automatic selection and if there were any doubts he has removed all of them by his Stellar batting at this Asia Cup. He is a must.

Surya Kumar Yadav

He is one of the best in the world at the moment and the number 2 ranked batter in the world in this format and he will be useful in Australia.

WICKET-KEEPERS

Rishabh Pant

He will be one of the two Wicket keeping batters who will most likely go to Australia and he is an important left handed option.

Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik has earned his place in this 15 after a slew of excellent Performances in the last year and he will definitely go as the finisher.

ALL ROUNDERS

Hardik Pandya

The first all rounder that will be selected will be Hardik Pandya and he will be the glue that holds the team together. He can bat well and now he can bowl 4 overs regularly.

Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar has to be in the squad for Australia and he is a proper all rounder and he will add a lot to the team with both bat and ball.

FAST BOWLERS

Jasprit Bumrah

The spearhead of the fast bowling attack and someone whose absence is being felt greatly in this Asia Cup and he will be the most important fast bowler for India.

Arshdeep Singh

This young man has knocked the door down and his bowling at the death overs alone makes him worthy of being in the squad because there are very few better than him at the death

Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Although he has had a few bad games that does not mean he should be left out of the squad for the World Cup because he has so much experience and could be valuable in Australia.

Mohammad Shami

As this is my team for the World Cup I cannot understand how the team can leave out Mohammad Shami as he is one of the best fast bowlers going around in World cricket so he should be there.

SPINNERS

Yuzvendra Chahal

The first spinner in the team should and will be Yuzvendra Chahal, because he had 1 bad tournament that does not mean he should be out of the team like last year because he will be useful on the big pitches in Australia.

Ravichandran Ashwin

The second spinner in the team will be Ravichandran Ashwin and since he is an off spinner and there will be lots of left handed batters in other teams he could be useful.

Kuldeep Yadav

My 15th pick and this is the wild card and my wish because Kuldeep Yadav will give a completely new dimension to this Indian team in Australia and in the big grounds there he can prove to be useful.
