Both of these WWE Hall of Famers are now in charge of different departments of WWE creative. Triple H is the man who is running the main roster on a week to week basis and is the Chief Content Officer of WWE and Shawn Michaels has been running NXT for over a year and he has been doing very well as well. This article is not about a war or anything but just to see who between the two of us is doing a better job and what makes them better than the other.
The one big advantage with both Triple H and Shawn Michaels is that both of them have competed at the highest level in WWE and they are both multiple time World Champions as well as WrestleMania main eventers so they know the pressure of this environment and would know how to book their talent.
So, let’s compare the both of them:
Shawn Michaels books the women better than Triple H
The one thing where Shawn Michaels is better than Triple H is when it comes to the booking of the women because there is no debate as to how much better the NXT Women’s division is as compared to the main roster. The depth and the diversity of talent there in NXT and the way that Shawn Michaels uses each one of them is commendable. Almost everyone from Roxanne Perez to Tiffany Straton to Sol Ruca to Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn to Meiko Satomura to the tag teams , all the women have character and depth. Triple H does not have that many options but even with those he is not able to fully utilize everyone.
Triple H has made the titles feel more important
Here Triple H takes the win because before he came in there were some titles that were not worth anything and within less than a year he has made almost all the titles in WWE feel important again and that is one of the biggest wins in the Triple H era. Shawn Michaels does not have that many titles in NXT and even with the ones they have not everyone is as important. The United States Championship was worthless and Triple H has slowly made it so important that at WrestleMania it will be Austin Theory vs John Cena for the United States Championship. And the Intercontinental Championship was not even defended at any show but after Triple H was in charge that title with Gunther as the champion became so prestigious.
Shawn Michaels books tag teams better
The tag team question was a hard one to answer but when the WWE fans look at the state of the tag division in NXT and the main roster it can be said that Shawn Michaels has done a much better job in handling tag Teams. The likes of Gallus who are the champions then there are Pretty Deadly, The Creed Brothers, Indus Sher and a few more so that makes for a competitive tag division and in the main roster The Usos have been Champions for 600+ days and it is only a team of 2 superstars in Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn that will beat them at WrestleMania.
