Australia is the test team with the most number of wins in test match cricket at 398 test match wins and they have a slender lead against the number 2 side on this list. They have played a total of 839 test matches till now and they have also lost 226 test matches as a side and some of the losses were memorable. And Australia have drawn 213 test matches and drawn test matches can be very entertaining as well. Australia will play more test matches as they go along over the years and they will reach 400 test wins really soon as well.

2. England (378 Test matches won):

The next team on this list is the mighty England team who are the only team who have played over a 1000 test matches and they have won 378 matches whereas they have also lost 315 test matches as well which shows they are beaten a lot of times as well and the number of drawn test matches by England are at 352 and as they play along they will win more rest matches as well as lose matches as well.

3. West Indies (178 Test matches won):

The West Indies team is 3rd on this list with a total of 178 test matches won over the 560 test matches they have played in total. And they have lost 204 test matches over their test history and they have drawn 177 test matches till now and there is no doubt if they improve their test structure that they can win more test matches in the future as well.

4. South Africa (171 Test matches won):

South Africa have one of the most impressive records in the history of test cricket as in the 448 test matches they have played in their history , they have been able to win 171 test matches and they have lost 153 test matches against good teams as well and they also have drawn 124 test matches in their history. South Africa was barred from cricket as well for a number of years and they were reinstated in 1993 again and their journey hasn’t looked back since.

5. India (166 Test matches won):

After South Africa, the fifth team with most test match wins is the Indian team with 166 test match wins in a total of 560 test matches over the 89 year history of test cricket for India. They have also lost 173 test matches which is not a good sign as well as they have 223 drawn test matches throughout their history and the hope is this record gets better with time and they win more matches than they lose.

6. Pakistan (145 Test matches won):

Pakistan is 6th on the list of most test matches won by an international team and their record is very impressive as well. They have won 145 test matches out of a total of 441 text matches played as well as they have been beaten 134 times by other teams in test cricket and they have been able to draw 162 text matches and going forward they will improve on this record and maybe go higher on this list.

7. New Zealand (108 Test matches won):

The number 7 team in this illustrious list is the New Zealand team which has won 108 test matches out of a total of 451 test matches played till now. They have lost 177 test matches which is not a good record to have and hopefully the win loss difference decreases and they have a total of drawn test matches of 168 and going forward it can be said that their record will improve.

8. Sri Lanka (95 Test matches won):

Out of all the 8 teams in this list till now Sri Lanka are the team that has played the least number of test matches and still they have won a decent number of the ones they have played. Out of a total of 299 test matches Sri Lanka have won 95 out of those and lost 113 test matches and have been able to draw 91 text matches which is fairly even but they would want the wins to reach the 100 mark fast

9. Bangladesh (16 Test matches won):

The 9th spot in this list goes to one of the newest test playing nations in Bangladesh. They have played a total of 128 test matches till now and have been only able to win 16 off them and they have lost a mammoth 95 times and drawn 17 test matches that they have played in. The hope is that they get better in test cricket and win more matches because the more competitive teams the higher the standard of test cricket will be.

10. Zimbabwe (13 Test matches won):

The 10th team in this list is a team that all of us fans love and it is Zimbabwe. They have played 115 test matches in total and won a mere 13 off them and they have been beaten 74 times but they have drawn 28 test matches which is impressive.
